Róbert E.GYURCSANYI,professor of Budapest University of Technology and Economics.He received his PhD in Chemistry at the Technical University of Budapest in 1999, with further training at Duke University (USA). Before accepting in 2004 a tenure at his current location, he was postdoctoral fellow in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Memphis and then at the Organic Chemistry Laboratory of ETH Zürich.
Currently he is Editor of Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical and editorial advisory board member of ACS Sensors, MethodsX and Chemical Data Collection.
His research interests include the development of chemical and biosensing methods based on novel synthetic ligands and nanomaterials for diagnostic applications, as well as aspects of Li ion battery development.
