Dr. Yinong Chen, Professor of Arizona State University, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1993. He did postdoctoral research at LAAS-CNRS, Toulouse, France. He joined of Computer Science Department at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 1994, and joined the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at Arizona State University, U.S.A. in 2001. His research areas include computer science education, service-oriented computing, cloud computing, robotics, and distributed systems. Dr. Chen published five books and over 100 research papers. He developed three core courses on service-oriented computing for the computer science program at Arizona State University and wrote two textbooks for the courses. He received the Teacher of the Year Awards in 2008 and in 2009 for two consecutive years. He is the Editorial Board Member of Journal of Systems & Software, Journal of Simulation Modeling Practice and Theory, and International Journal of Simulation and Process Modeling.
