Professor Pasquale Patrizio is the President of ISFP. He is Professor of Ob/GYN, Medical Director of the Yale Fertility Center and Reproductive Endocrinology and Associate Director of REI Division. He started his medical career in Italy, and completed a series of residencies and advanced studies/trainings in University of California and Pennsylvania before he joined Yale faculty in 2004. Dr. Patrizio has lectured throughout the world on the topics of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Male Infertility and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), garnering a number of awards. He has authored 3 books, in addition to 376 scientific papers, including 57 book chapters, 118 peer-review publications and 201 abstracts. Dr. Patrizio is also an associate Editor for Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics and Reproductive Biomedicine on Line, as well as member of the editorial board of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fertility and Sterility and < www.worldivf.com >. His main areas of interest include IVF, ICSI; Epididymal and Testicular sperm retrievals; Genetics of female and male infertility; Oocyte and Embryo Freezing; Cumulus cells gene expression and Blastocyst secretory activity; Minimal ovarian stimulation and IVM, just to name a few.
