Godula is currently CEO of Shanghai-based digital marketing agency Web2Asia, a company he started in 2006. Web2Asia is a full-service digital marketing agency with a focus on e-commerce. Its core services include multi-channel marketing and digital performance marketing.In 2014 Godula and his business partner Lac Tran developed a new division aimed at being a one-stop-shop for foreign brands and retailers looking to build an e-commerce presence, both on platforms such as TMall and JD, or standalone shops. This focus has led to the firm more than doubling its revenue growth over the previous fiscal period.Clients the company has worked with include Marks & Spencer, Platinum Guild International, BP Castrol, Costa Coffee, Mondelez Kraft Foods, and Manchester United.In addition to his post with Web2Asia, Godula is also MD of MH direct, an Austrian direct response agency and fulfilment service provider, and a shareholding partner at global website creator and eShop solution provider, Jimdo, a startup founded in 2007 by his former classmates from Gothenburg University. He is also a mentor and angel investor with Chinaccelerator, a startup incubator investment and acceleration programme based in Shanghai.Godula is vocal on the topic of China’s e-commerce industry and has spoken at leading digital marketing and e-commerce conferences in China, Australia, Singapore, Spain, Peru, Germany and the US.Prior to moving to China, Godula was business development manager and head of special projects at Omicron Electronics in Austria. He holds an MBA and a degree in economics from the University of Innsbruch Austria and the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He speaks German, English, Swedish, French, Spanish and Mandarin.
